Pilot Project Support
Support for defining pilot scope, monitoring points, data workflow and review criteria before wider deployment.

Support Scope
For gas utilities and project partners evaluating a limited deployment before a wider equipment or platform decision. A pilot should answer a defined operational question, not simply show that devices can be switched on. The discussion connects the selected site, monitoring points and response team with the records needed to review the result. It does not assume that a successful demonstration proves suitability for all sites or target markets.
Pilot scenario selection
Focus on one operating question, such as whether alarms can be associated with known assets and followed through to a field record. Avoid testing every possible function at once.
Monitoring point planning
Discuss site access, target gas, device roles, power and communication conditions. The pilot equipment and installation responsibilities are agreed before deployment.
Alarm workflow discussion
Define who receives an event, who investigates and what evidence is recorded. Include how missing reports, device faults and maintenance work will be reviewed.
Technical review after pilot period
Compare available records with the agreed review criteria, document gaps and decide whether to adjust, extend or stop the pilot before discussing wider deployment.
What to Share Before We Discuss
- Operating problem, pilot location and proposed monitoring points
- Target gas, site access, power and communication conditions
- Existing equipment and available integration interfaces
- Local project owner, proposed period and review criteria
What the Discussion Can Define
A proposed discussion outcome is a pilot scope covering selected points, responsibilities, records to collect and criteria for the next decision. Any written proposal, equipment supply, installation or review activity must be agreed in the project scope.
Service Scope and Confirmation
A pilot is not a free-equipment offer, certification service or guarantee of rollout performance. Availability, charges, schedule, on-site support and acceptance responsibilities require commercial and technical confirmation.
